tank-man-coverage-denied-hoodie-prior-authorize-this
Tank Man Coverage Denied Hoodie | Prior Authorize This.

In 1989, one man stood in front of a column of tanks and refused to move. If you’ve ever fought your health insurance, you’ve stood there too.

Your column doesn’t look like tanks. It looks like a letter saying the treatment your doctor ordered is “not medically necessary.” It looks like forty minutes of hold music and a voice that can’t see your file. It looks like a fax machine that never got the prior authorization, and a filing cabinet full of forms that all need one more signature. It just keeps rolling, and it’s stenciled with two words: coverage denied.

And you’re standing in front of it in a hospital gown, holding your IV pole in one hand and a folder of paperwork in the other.
The whole machine is counting on one thing: that you’ll be too sick, too tired or too busy to stay standing.
So you don’t move. You ask for the denial in writing. You get your doctor to write the letter. You call again on Monday. You file the appeal anyway.

This hoodie is for everyone who has stood in front of that column. The patient on their third appeal. The mom on hold with the insurance company during her lunch break. The nurse doing prior authorization paperwork after her shift ends. The caregiver who learned what “medical necessity” means the hard way. The doctor who went to medical school for twelve years to argue with a fax machine.

They’re not betting you’re wrong. They’re betting you’re tired.

Midweight 50/50 fleece pullover with a front pouch pocket. Unisex S–3XL.
